Quality assurance

Quality assurance is the key component in our operations as it helps us guarantee to deliver consistent quality to our customers. A hemp plant is many steps away from the final product and those steps include not only production but many phases of testing against various impurities and contaminants that might be present in the final product.

ANALYSING CANNABINOIDS PRODUCTS

Our company is paying extra attention to quality assurance and our wide range of products undergo extensive analytical procedures to ensure that they are free of heavy metals, microbiological species, pesticides/herbicides/insecticides, and residual solvents, in addition to completing a cannabinoid profile assessment. Here is the main quality control check performed in our production line:

Chemical Structure –
we use contracted and NMR methods, testing against hydrogen atom containing materials. The acceptance criteria conform to structure.
Heavy Metals –
we use contracted method, IPC-MS LOQ 0.01 – 0.04mg/kg, tested against these metals: Arsenic, Cadmium, Lead and Mercury. The acceptance criteria is below 0.1mg/kg.
Microbiology –
we test microbiology using contracted method, tested against:
– total Aerobic Microbial Count (TAMC) ≤ 2000 CFU/g;
– total Yest and Mold Count (TYMC) ≤ 200 CFU/g;
– tile-tolerant gram-negative bacteria ≤ 10 CFU/g
– escherichia Coli Absent
– salmonella
Pesticides –
This quality control is tested against pesticide residues. The acceptance criteria is
below 0.1mg/kg.
Residual solvents –
tested using contracted method, GC-FIDHS. LOQ 0.1 – 1 mg/kg and against the solvents used during processing.
