Description
Red fescue (slender creeping) – with short rhizomes (lat. F.r. ssp.trichophylla Gaud., syn. F.r. ssp. litoralis). It is an intermediate form of red fescue between tufts and rhizomes. Plants of this subspecies produce short underground rhizomes when bushy.
Use: for lawns, in mixtures.
Cultivation features: undemanding to soil, suitable for hilly areas.
