Description
Red clover (tetraploid) – grows tall (compared to other perennial clovers), productive in the herbage for about 3-4 years. Tetraploid Trifolium repens is a diploid hybrid.
Use: mainly used in mixtures with bluebells (fogs) for cut grass, although they are also used for grazing.
Cultivation features: grows best in non-soaked, neutral (pH 6-7) soils. Prefers lighter and medium loams.
