Developed in Hungary, this dioecious industrial hemp strain produces top quality buds and is widely spread across Europe. As a dioecious strain, Kompolti grows male and female plants. To ensure the prime bud quality, one must simply root out the male plants before they die and affect the quality of the harvest. Kompolti variety is designed for the production of top-quality seeds but can also be used for making oil.
These plants are quite large (grow up to 4m tall), and their stems are firm. They develop such strong plants during a relatively long vegetation period that could last up to 160 days. Because of a complex hemp threshing process, seed harvest is modest. But the small harvest is compensated by a high number of obtained CBD. It can reach up to 4.5% and if the conditions allow – it could go up even more.
